This article talk about the future of the internet as far as balkanization and borders are concerned. The article particularly insist on the significant of disconnecting from the united state internet hegemony and having in place a well developed sovereign internet with well established governance structures. This emerged due to the speculation that united state has been constantly monitoring other countries emails, spying on the country and intercepting sensitive government information.

The article also pointed out some specific countries which have been the victims of this heinous action by the United States. Another very profound thing is how citizens who are from other countries are discriminated when it come to the access of information in the internet. In addition, the author also pointed out how the universal human rights on the freedom to access information are contravened by what the united state is doing. Proposal for better methods of ensuring the security of the information exchanged via the internet can be achieved.

The article talks about the internet and the use of mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet computers. The author pointed out that the mobile IP version 4 was developed specifically to increase the mobility and flexibility of using the mobile devices to access the ever changing internet usage.

According to the author, MIPv4 has not been fully exploited. In addition, there numerous weaknesses which need to be fixed so that an effective communication process and less IP addresses can be used. Mittman argued that the limited number of IP addresses is a key issues because there is a large of mobile devices which needs unique IP address to access the internet. The author also explains how MIPv6 was developed to solve the previously existing issues. The mobile IP version six contains very much IP address which facilitates effective and consistent connection of mobile users. Moreover, MIPv6 has the ability to support mobile users while they are roaming across networks. The implementation of MIPv6 is also discussed at length is the article.
